As a new owner of a 968,  I'll have a number of questions as I get to know the car. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

First question. Despite having power steering, the steering feels quite heavy. Is this usual?  This is not a complaint, but New Zealand country roads are quite curvy ( A bit like PCH Big Sur to Monterey). My other vehicle is a Subaru Legacy GT ( Factory Turbo ), and this vehicle has very  light, quick steering, and is ideal for our roads.

Are there any modifications or adjustments available to lighten the steering?  Larger Power Steering Pumps/ Transplants from other vehicles?

Your thoughts....

You could "skinny up" the front tires if you don't mind sacrificing some traction.
