Replacing Brake Light Bulbs
This simple task eludes me - there is no way in from the back -so does the lens need to come off? Now that sounds risky! Any advice, obvious or other is welcome.

Move the carpet out from the rear of the hatch area. May be held with snaps or velcro. There is a rubber cover along the panel, remove that. There is a black plastic lug nut that you need to remove, hold the lens so it does not fall. Replace bulb.
If you download a copy of the parts catalog and workshop manual, it will help you understand how to do some of this.
