Its for your wheel lock

You should also know that you will only find these on 92-94.5 968s. When the 94.5-95s 968s were produced Porsche had switch to the "much better" mcguard style wheel lock style with the lock-lug socket.

This key is for a wheel lock.  These cars came stock with one locking lug nut per wheel.  This is the key to remove that locking lug.  The small tab on the lower side of the key is designed to remove the rubber cap on the lug nut and that will expose the key hole.  Insert the key, turn it and the locking cover will pull off and you can remove the lug nut with the proper wrench.
