whats the best oil weight

Im running Mobil1   10w/30, Im not happy with it,I think I need a thicker oil,Im getting lifter noise now, should I go with regular oil like. Porsche recommened shell 20w/50Continue

"A fine crack in the rubber hose to the tank as it joins the  filler receptacle, disclosed by stressing it, was my culprit."
