I was recently driving on the highway and my temp guage spiked from the normal 3/4 to max and the warning light came on.  I immediately pulled over and turned the engine off.  My fan(s) came on for about two minutes, then turned off.  The temp guage remained at max.  I would have expected the fan(s) to stay on until the temp decreased to normal.  To be safe, I had it towed to my local shop. He determined that one of the fans was not operating and replaced the fan relay and swith.  Now when the…See More
