968 or 944S2

Howdy, so, new to this site. I don't even own a 968, would like to however. I'm in NC and finding one is hard. I would rather have a coupe over the cabrio. I found a nice 944S2 that has had a lot of work done, belts, clutch, water pump new AC compressor and it has 77K on it for $9K. I believe it's a nice car. But, I've always liked the 968 better and prices are not very much more. So, I'm looking for some expert opinions. Thanks everyone.

Hello all. I have viewed this great site many times. I will post some photo's shortly of my 968 Cabriolet.

In the meantime, I am looking for a couple of things for my toy as follows:

  • A roll bar so that I can participate in PCA track events
  • Front air dam (splitter / spoiler)
  • Decent 18" replica rims.

Any assistance will be appreciated in providing direction preferably in Canada or US.


Also if anyone can provide information…

I am looking to improve both the sound and performance of my 1993 968 with a muffler. Does anyone out there have experience with this and can make a recomendation?

No Low End Torque

Hello to all,

I just purchased a '94 968 cab. with a triptronic. The car is phenominal except there is no low end torque. I could get 0-20 faster on my bike. Is this just the nature of the beast or are there any cures?
