968.net

The 968 - 0068 sits in the drive waiting - for the new MICHELIN Pilots, slotted rotors etc.

Dianne is to go to HAITI this Sat. AM as every year.

Here I am in a Country that has trials & tribulations much like "down south" in the 60's. I guess I have the blood in me of RICHARD GILDERSLEEVE "No Taxation Without Representation" and the Men of the GREEN BERET.

Hello Dad - It has been a while - Yes, I would really like to be turning wrenches on the 968 or the FORD F750 as we used to do in 1956. WAR sucks - but someone has to do it. It was better when all I had to do, was play in the sand box with my TONKA trucks and wait for you to come home.

I have a tear in my eye at the rebirth of this thread.
Hello Damian,

Yes it has been a long time - has it not.

I can tell you that I have thought about you and all friends of 968.net over the years.

I am just starting to understand how to navigate this new site, as I am recovering from a recent head-wound. I should be fine by summer and back home to work on the "GRAPE".

Be good to your 968 and 'SHE' will be good to YOU.

Wounderfull thing these laptop "PUTERS" are.

ohh, ohh - HERE WE GO!!!

The rooms were so much colder then
My father was a soldier then
And times were very hard
When I was young

I smoked my first cigarette at ten
And for girls, I had a bad yen
And I had quite a ball
When I was young

When I was young, it was more important
Pain more painful
Laughter much louder
Yeah, when I was young
When I was young

I met my first love at thirteen
She was brown and I was pretty green
And I learned quite a lot when I was young
When I was young

When I was young, IT WAS MORE IMPORTANT
Pain more painful
Laughter much louder
Yeah, when I was young
When I was young

My faith was so much stronger then
I believed in fellow men
And I was so much older then
When I was young
When I was young
When I was young

I recieved a cell call from back in the US of A - this AM - he has 4 in-line PORSCHE's up for grabs.

Most likely 944's - but still ???????????????

gil.
It is all coming back to me now.

Ray, Pitou, Raj, Damian - Ja, dat geeft niet, ik spel mijn naam BEUKEMA or Gilderrsleeve to you Ritchie.

Who else is here today?

Dan DeGrutchy (sp) with hooters ??- Please refresh my memory, so as I do not want to leave out the 968'ers that contributed so much and for so many years.

THANK YOU RAY.

Gilder....come on...learn to navigate this site.
I sent you a friends request a while ago...

Who hit you on the head?

Twin raisin has still the seat belt sign on, third braking light not working, noise wheel bearing.

Otherwise cornering great...in artists hands.
T - Do Not Turn wrenches with those hands. TOO much to loose if injured.

I am not home yet, but very soon. I did not get shot in the head, but it was pieces of debris and metal. I am being sent to Massachusetts General Hosp. next week, so as to take care of what is found in my thyroid. You know that I still want to eat Lobster, Shrimp and Filet Minon (sp)???

It has been a very LONG time and when I get home, I will respond to my emails.

Thanx Soooo Much.

gil.
